Phi Phi Island – Private Beach Escape from the Crowds 2025

ree

Phi Phi Island is one of the most famous destinations in Thailand, attracting visitors from all around the world who dream of experiencing its beauty – including me.Since I live in Phuket, just nearby, it’s easy for me to visit: only 60 minutes by speedboat or about 2 hours by ferry. I’ve been there countless times – sometimes just for a day trip, other times for an overnight stay.

This time, I planned a short getaway to Phi Phi Island for 2 nights, but instead of staying in the busy main town, I chose a quieter spot – Pak Nam Bay, home to the beautiful Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort.

This resort is located on the south coast of Phi Phi Don, with stunning views of the Andaman Sea. It’s perfect for nature lovers, couples, families, or anyone who wants peace, privacy, and a break from the crowds.

3 Days 2 Nights (3-5 August 2025)

I took the ferry at 8:30 AM and arrived at Phi Phi Island around 10:30 AM.Traveling during the low season felt so comfortable – fewer tourists, more space, and a relaxed vibe.

When I arrived, I saw the resort’s staff holding a sign that read "Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort". They arranged a longtail boat transfer from Tonsai Bay Pier to the resort, with departures at 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 4:30 PM, and 5:30 PM.

Travel tip: If you plan to stay around the resort until checkout, buy snacks or drinks at Tonsai Bay Pier first – the bungalows have no minibar.

The longtail boat ride took about 30 minutes. Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome with a glass of cold water. I had booked a Sea View Bungalow – Fan, but the resort kindly upgraded me to a Beachfront Bungalow – Fan since I was traveling alone, and my original room was under renovation.

My Stay

I decided to stay in the bungalow for most of my trip, just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The resort offers activities like snorkeling right in front of the beach – the coral reefs are beautiful. You can also go kayaking, swimming, or simply relax on the sand.

If you want to visit Phi Phi town, the resort’s longtail boat service departs for Tonsai Bay Pier at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 12:30 PM.

For me, two nights here felt just right – enough to relax, recharge, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. I truly felt calm and refreshed, and I know I’ll come back again.

Day 3 – Departure & Future Plans

Before leaving, I mentioned to the reception that I’m a local travel agent from Phuket and would like to work with them for this season. The staff kindly showed me different room types:

  • Sea View Bungalow – Fan

ree
  • Two-Bed Bungalow – Air Conditioning

ree
  • Beachfront Bungalow – Air Conditioning

ree
  • Beachfront Bungalow – Fan (the one I stayed in)

ree

Travel tip: If you’re traveling with elderly people, I recommend avoiding hillside or sea-view bungalows, as they require walking up a slope.

Final Thoughts : I can describe my experience in words, but it’s even better when you come and feel it for yourself. The calm, the views, and the fresh sea breeze – you deserve that kind of escape. This is a place worth visiting. (  https://bit.ly/4lhXHoB )
