Lazy James Bond - Laem Haad (Koh Yao) by Speed Boat

Upon arrival at AA Marina Pier, receive a warm welcome from the Sea Star Boat Tour team, complete with complimentary tea, fresh coffee, bakery items, sandwiches, and snacks before the tour guide briefs you on our James Bond and Khai Islands tour journey.
09.30 am : DEPARTURE
Departing from AA Marina Pier, we head to Phang Nga Bay by speedboat to admire the beautiful limestone formations and calm waters, enjoying a ride of about 60 minutes.
PANAK ISLAND : CANOEING
Panak Island is one of the hidden gems of Phang Nga Bay. Instead of visiting a beach, we take a sea canoe through a narrow limestone cave and into a hidden lagoon inside the island. You may see dramatic rock formations, mangroves and even bats. It’s like entering a secret room inside the mountain.
Noted : The exact cave or hong you can enter depends heavily on tide and sea conditions, because the cave entrances can become inaccessible at certain water levels
KOH TAPU (JAMES BOND ISLAND) - KHAO PHING KAN
James Bond Island is one of the most famous landmarks in Phang Nga Bay. Its real name is Koh Tapu, or ‘Nail Island,’ because of its unusual shape. It became famous after appearing in the 1974 James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun. We usually visit Khao Phing Kan and walk to the viewpoint to see the iconic limestone rock standing in the sea.
POODLE ROCK
As we cruise through Phang Nga Bay, keep an eye out for Poodle Rock. This unusual limestone formation has a shape that looks like a poodle. It was naturally created by erosion over thousands of years. It’s a fun little landmark to spot while we explore the bay.
LUNCH - PANYEE VILLAGE
Enjoy your buffet lunch and spend your time sightseeing at Panyee Village. Koh Panyee is a unique Muslim fishing village built on stilts over the sea. The community was originally founded by Indonesian fishermen and has developed into a close-knit village surrounded by the limestone mountains of Phang Nga Bay. You can walk through the village, see traditional fishing life, enjoy fresh seafood and visit the famous floating football field.
HONG ISLAND - CANOEING
The word ‘hong’ means ‘room’ in Thai. In Phang Nga Bay, a hong is like a secret room inside a limestone island. We enter through a narrow cave by sea canoe and discover a hidden lagoon surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and mangroves. The experience depends on the tide, which makes every visit a little different.
LAEMHAD - KOH YAO YAI
Laem Had Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Yao Yai, famous for its long white sandbar. At low tide, the sand emerges from the sea and creates a beautiful walkway surrounded by shallow turquoise water. It’s a peaceful place to relax, take photos and enjoy the natural beauty of Koh Yao Yai.

Our next stop is a secluded beach on Koh Yao Yai. This peaceful stretch of coastline is away from the busy tourist areas, giving you time to relax, swim and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Depending on the tide and sea conditions, we may have the beach almost entirely to ourselves.

Departing from Khai Island, head toward AA Marina Pier.
18.00 pm. : ARRIVAL AT AA MARINA PIER
